tamara_russoSo I got the job at the paper, I'm starting on Sunday, and I'm really happy about it. It may be only a secretarial job, but it's on a newspaper and it's right next to Azriely, my "home away from home" since my army service, so it has it's advantages.
Going to a concert with Roy tonight, my cousin's boyfriend's group is playing, she said I'd like the music, so I said I'd go. Even though there are a lot of bombing alerts and my grandma is at the hospital (hopefully she'll get out tomorrow), I'm still going.
It was my sister and my brother-in-law's first wedding anniversary yesterday, my mom and I went to buy them a present at Nahlat Binyamin. We found really great stuff - a newspaper stand (first year is paper, right?) and a magnetic board you can write on with chalk. They both look awesome, designed very beautifully in an old fashion kind of a way.
Came home and talked to Roy. Told him about my day, he told me his computer has gone to the dogs (annoying). After I talked to him I called Hagar and got her good news (about her and Navot) and her not so good news (that he went up north). I'm still waiting for more specific details, but I guess that until we meet I won't get them. Still, was very happy for both of them (I know how to be glad for other people more than for myself... Hmmm). Finished my day with talking to my dad about books.
This morning woke up to my mom telling me my grandma was in the hospital and will I go down to feed the cats, so I got up and fed the cats, and when I came back I fell asleep on the sofa, to be awakened by my dad because the power went out and the computer made funny noises and he was shaving. After which I resumed my attempted sleep to be asked by my mom to hang the T-shirt my brother needs for work today. After that I went to my room and my dad waked me up again because I didn't answer him... Frustrating as hell. After he left I tried to go back to sleep, and... My cell rang. It was the girl from the paper to let me know I passed the polygraph test (they wanted to know if I were an industrial spy or if I had taken drugs... *snort*) and I can come tomorrow and sign my employment contract. I gave up on sleeping, went and hung the rest of the laundry and watched a movie till my mom came home for lunch with my sister and my grandad. They went back to the hospital and my brother is at work.
My mom calls - "Udi forgot his wallet on the bus, would you call the bus company and ask if they found it?" So I did, after a few calls managed to get the right place to be told there isn't any wallet found. My mom will call them again, but I still have to go down to feed the cats again in an hour or so. Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
