Lisa gets a sustitute teacher, played by Dustin Hoffman (before celebs were a dime a dozen in that show), who is everything Homer isn't.
This ep is wonderful, it has two scenes that actually made me cry a few times (yes, I'm crying at the Simpsons. Sue me), and one scene which is a pure beauty ("baboon! baboon! baboon!").
This is why I watch this show.
