It is morning. Big surprise there, no? But still - it's a morning.

It's the first morning of the new year, and if I look outside my window (which I did) I'll see silence interwoven into a fresh beginning. If I think for a second about the phrase "Fresh Leaf" i have to agree - because it doesn't mean that all we had from before is gone, just open for ramifications and additions.

It feels good to think this way.

On a more "Down to Earth" note, I had a very busy week up until now. I was in a Perach seminar (I'm a coordinator this year, not an instructor or a tutor) for three days. There were a lot of work shops inside the seminar I thought I would go nuts - most of the people there are pshycology and special education students, with high and mighty ideas about who we want to have as tutors and big ideas about projects for the children, and I was thinking "Shish, get your head down from the Olympus you're in".

Some people will have a serious crash when they start the interviews.

In despite of what I said above, certain parts of the seminar were very interesting and enlightening - like the parts about how to interview, what to look for in a tutor and a child etc. I was lucky as well with the projects I got - I got one elementary school in Holon (a bit far from me, but with a car it's ten minutes), a project of students tutoring other students with learning disabilities in Holon and the law and health education projects in Holon (where students go to a class and teach a class about one of these subjects). I have very varied projects, which is good, and my Perach paycheck is coming as of September. Very good.

Yesterday I was working and when I got home I went straight into helping my mom with the preparations for the evening, so when everyone arrived at 20:00 almost everything was ready and I was dead tired. I could only eat a few small things before I went to lie on the sofa. I napped throughout most of the evening, only waking up to have a bit of Tiramissu, and when everyone went home I went to bed and got up at 8:30.

Plans for today - eat breakfast, go to the beach, come home, rest, and have some friends coming for tonight. And today's Thursday, so I have three days of blissful quiet on my hands (well, the frineds thing will not be quiet, but it's worth it... :))
