Work annoyances

tamara_russoThe fucking subscriptions dep. is completely blocked so I get all the calls from it, from annoyed and annoying people who didn't get their paper this morning, or only got parts of it, or they want to cancel the subscription or freeze it...
How many times do I have to repeat myself?! I'm not the subscriptions dep.
How many times does one woman needs to say she has high blood pressure? Who fucking cares?
And then I get a call for a campaign, and we don't handle that anymore, so I call the switching board to ask them not to transfer these calls to my office, but to Sigal's (and I was nice, really, I was polite and didn't say how we keep telling them that over and over since March), and the girl there said "Well, I switch the calls of subscriptions to you" and I said, OK, I know, I didn't say a thing about that, that's fine, but y'know, even if a person starts his sentence with "I'm your subscription..." it doesn't necessarily mean he need me, maybe he needs one of the reporters, don't just dump him on me because he's a subscription, and she sighs deeply, like saying "Oh, my, you actually want me to listen to the people who call here?!?!?" and says "I'll try" in an exasperated voice, like what I asked her was to try to move mount Hermon from the northern Golan to the Negev....
