Udi shaved his head last night.

It's so different, I was a bit shocked, though I saw and was a part of the entire proccess (his friend Yossi shaved him and had a bit of trouble with cutting off his very large, thick brade, so I stepped in). My mom refused to come and watch (she was ashamed of crying). All of Udi's friends were there, and they had booze and treated the whole thing like a party (even Udi, who was bummed to his knees). In the end Udi's head was shaved and we all told him it looks good (it does) but I felt a pinch. After all, he had that hair for 4 years, and it was longer than mine. It also symbolizes his upcoming draft, which is a thing I dread. I'll post pictures (if he'll let me...)

There's still a differnce between you, who I get to see, what, once a month? And Udi, who lives in the same house with me... Besides, it's, like I said, a symbol for his upcoming draft, so it bothers me... Not to mention it took me a lot getting used to when you shaved your head either.
