Picking on little brothers is fun
Mar. 5th, 2006 10:31 pmFirst day of the semester. Immunology. In the words of Hagar - meep... It was the first lecture, it was frightening... But, I've survived through these last two-an-a-half years, I'll survive this as well. Plant ecology of Israel won't be too bad, Alzheimer is supposed to be good (have that tomorrow, with Ayala, the only class we have together), Antibodies will be fine, I guess, and even if not... It's only a two-pointer class, no sweat. The lab in animal behavior will be fine, I'm sure. All there is to fear is Immuno. Bring it on.
My grandma is sick, and I seriously bumped into my mom when I got back from the university (at a crossroad - she was in our car, I was walking back from the bus station) so I went to see her with my mom, who was on her way to her and my granddad's house. I hate it when she's sick, and she's an old woman (she won't let me say how old she is), and it frightens me. I've seen how age can destroy a person, and I don't want that for her, though her mind is very clear. I washed the cristal I got her, a thing I do every time I'm there. It can't hurt. I'm sure she'll be fine, it's only the flu or something, but she gets depressed and doesn't leave the house, and that hurts her, I'm sure. I'm gonna start going there more often.
After getting back home I spent some time watching stuff I taped last night, and then got into the very nice business of picking on my little brother. Ever since he got through his terrible 16 birthday, he has become such a sweetie, and I can just sit for hours and annoy him. Of course he enjoys the attention, and we fought for a while, him chasing me and me chasing him trying to make the other one pull us with a broom when we sit on the floor (like a horse, or Udi called it Luz' or something of the sort - he says it's an olimpic winter sport). I love my little brother.
