Rescue operation
Nov. 4th, 2009 06:06 pmSo my external disc died (my mom was very nice to clean behind my computer when I was in NY, but on the way moved the-already-sensitive-disc and screwed it up permanently). I've been trying to salvage my stuff on it for weeks now (yes, I know that a computer lab will be able to do it, but since I don't have time to do that I'm still fishing). The first thing I was able to rescue were the photos. They were the most important part since they cannot be replaced (obviously).
Life on Mars has been rescued yesterday with the second season of Ashes to Ashes, and some of the more important movies.
But.
SPN and House are super big, and I can't move them except season after season, and mostly the "disconnected" message appears before that. So I need more DVDs to burn, and some more luck before I can breathe again with the important stuff. And then I don't think I'll buy another one of these but burn everything.
On other news - I can't find a job (I don't really want one but I need one, I've no money) but school is going pretty well. Who knew how much of my two years of laziness in homework making really was because of my perach job...
