Chimichanga has been closed

Chimichanga restaurant has beeb my favorite restaurant for almost 10 years. We went there for the first time just before my sister has been drafted, just the kids and my dad. During the years it became our home restaurant, and we went there almost every birthday (of mine, at least), and my grandparents also loved it. It had the most amazing calamari salad, not to mention the best margaritas I've ever had (and mind you, I've had plenty).

Not two months ago the place had a fire, but I thought it was only a matter of time before it would re-open, but today I found out that the owners are turning it into an italian restaurant. True, the chef left some six months ago and started a new restaurant, but it's not the same.

So here's to my favorite dining place which gave me some of the happiest moments in my life (wipe that smile off your face, Hagar). I will truly miss it.

Now I have to find a new favorite restaurant. Fuck.
