The office was very very stuffy at the end of the day, and despite my attempts to open a window it would not open, so naturally I was very woozy and tired when I got out of there last night. I was supposed to have a lecture at "Ariela's House" in T.A., so I thought it would be stupid to go back to Holon only to take the car. I took off to Azrieli, meaning to grab a bite to eat at one of the cafes. Having bought two books at "Tzomet Sfarim" I sat at "The coffee bin" to have something to eat. I was sitting five minutes with my head in the book and my pastry when I heard a familiar voice and saw a pair of legs stopping at my table. I lift my head and... "[livejournal.com profile] nurint, what are you doing here?". She had Miluim at the Kiria, so she sat with me and kept me company until I had to dash.

I figured it won't take me long to walk to "Ariela's House", since it's quite close to Azrieli, and I was walking (and singing - I always do that, this time I had "Phantom of the Opera" stuck in my head), when while I was crossing the last street I noticed my sister - walking the same direction, going up to meet me. We turned around for her to have a cup of coffee at a cafe just up the road and then we made it to "Ariela's house" just in time before the lecture started.

The lecture was composed of three different lectures in fact - the first one was fascinating, about the new discoveries about the ancient culture in China as discovered in Archeology. The second one was even better about the Philosophy in ancient China. The lecturer was a very charismatic man, with a voice to die for and a russian accent. He had someone disturb him at the middle, but the guy got angry stares and after a second (false) attempt he shut up. The third lecture was about chinese medicine, and it was the weakest, plus I was already very tired, and my mind kept slipping and I almost fell asleep. When everything was finished and we headed outside I saw the second lecturer leave, and after him ran the guy who tried to interrupt him. He shook him off fairly quickly, and it gave me time to tell him I thought his lecture was fascinating (others around me agreed with me). Michali and I walked to Eyal's parents' house, debating all the while what was the Kibbutz the children in the book "Little eyes in a large country" had lived in (I said it was Hamadia, Michali said it was Eyn Harod. Anyone here has a clue?). It won't surprise you to know we drew the attention of all the people on the street... Eyal drove me home, with some cookies from his mom to bring for Udi (who is finally at home).

I went to sleep pretty late, but not before I fell asleep on the sofa for some time... *snicker*
