Annoying weekend
Dec. 31st, 2006 01:29 pmFriday morning was spent on the sofa. I had back pains (already wrote about it). It was a complete waste of a day. Did absolutely nothing.
On Saturday morning I woke up feeling a lot better And was drawn into the frenzy of organizing and cooking for lunch. My mom mentioned my aunt bringing shrimp and calamari salad, which made me super happy, until she arrived. The salad had tomatoes in it. I detest tomatoes. I had none of it, and my dad said something that annoyed the hell out of me, so I said "You aren't cheering me, you just make yourself look good." He gave up, and I returned to my misery from Friday (which grew heavily from seeing my sister rushing out to buy Udi a present. My mom understood, and asked if I was angry at her, and I said yes. Sorry, if my birthday was in May, Michali's and Udi's in September and December and they already got their presents it annoys me. I always remind everyone to get the presents - I don't need to get my own present on my own They need to go buy it. So, bitterly I resumed the cooking, feeling claustrophobic as the people filled our house. I was my unusual-self during lunch, almost no talking and being thoughtful. I escaped to my room a few times, needing the fresh air, only to discover My cousin took over the room to talk on the phone. I hated that, but couldn't tell him to get out. It took him about 45 minutes to get off the phone and get out of my room, all that while I was nervous and edgy. After that I calmed a bit, sitting in my room for a little while when my cousin's wife started looking for a place to change their son's diaper. Luckily for me, they gave up on doing it in my room. When everyone left I felt better, and at night I watched "Priscilla, queen of the desert" with my dad. I love that movie ("Ever, ever, ever, ever!"). This morning I got the car, and even got to park in the newspaper's parking lot. I was planning on taking myself to a movie after work, but talking to my mom I found she needs the car to take the new router from the shop. I was again, quite bummed. I guess I'm going to stay annoyed for some time now, unless someone decides to make me happier. Or I will.
