More pics, plus family annoyances

These few pics are from all over the trip.

A beautiful sculpture and one of my favorite pieces from this whole trip, in a gallery in Chelsy:

Walked into a great store, and here it is - miniature theme park. Awesome.

FAO - Schwartz. Wishing I'd never aged beyond the age of 9 (though when I walked in I felt like I was 9 again...).

Batman!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hogwarts Express:

Kitchenaid in Bloomingdales. *drool*

And the family stuff - my dad's sister and her husband are in the country and my mom invited them to lunch. They're not very popular with me and my mom, but it's a must to meet them, and a restaurant is too expansive (there is also the fact they never pay in restaurants, even though they have a lot of money. *coughchipchough*), so my grandma heard they were coming and she said she wasn't. My grandad doesn't want to fight with her and so I get my least favorite aunt and uncle for lunch and I don't get to see my grandparents today. Lovely. Also, Michali has a shift today (it's been 6 months now since she started her סטאז' - internship isn't the right word here - so it's half way through) so she and Eyal won't be here, but My other aunt and my cousin Abigail will be here, so yey for at least that.

That sculpture is gorgeous - I love how it's so anatomically detailed, the shoulder blades, tummy muscles, hip bone protrusions, leg muscles - the model had to have been at ideal weight/muscle tone for her weight and skeletal build. Not at all the classical smooth marble statue.

And the toy photos are adorable.

Lego Batman!!!!!!!

The sculpture is beautiful. Is the mirror part of the piece itself, or added by the gallery to make it easier for spectators? Because I adore the concept of the artwork viewing itself.

The mirror is a part of the piece. It's beautiful.

P.S. - I took that picture of Batman thinking about how you'd've squeeled if you'd've been there... :)
