Today's work

Dollar buying - check.

Out of country insurance - check.

International student card - check.

Haircut - check.

Laundry for everything that's coming with me - check.

Hair from legs - gone... :)

Batteries and such to load - check.

Still needs to do - get my cell to behave in New York, Pack (of course), print out my e-ticket (after express check in with El-Al, wיich will be available tomorrow), my hotel reservation, the trip plan, reserve the supershuttle from JFK and buy the Great Adventure ticket on-line...

Is that it? Hmmm. I think the mail stuff I'll do tonight, maybe with some printings. Can't pack yet - most of my clothes are still in the wash.

Also - upload some good movies on the MP4 to watch on the flight if I can't fall asleep.

I'll be taking the Earthsea Quartet - it's just the right book for this trip.

While the first and second books end on a sweet note, although they're dark for most of the time, do note that the third book is downright depressing. As for the fourth, better treat is as a fanfic than as part of the trilogy - and that one's depressing also.

Don't you still have Amber? Take that instead. It's fun like whoa.

Dude, are you insane?!?! Amber?! It's huge! It wouldn't fit in my suitcase, let alone my side bag...

As for Earthsea - I don't know how much I'll actually read out of it, but trust me, I've had depressing. It bothers me, but, like I once stated, after "The Bell Jar" nothing will get me depressed...
